This comprehensive workshop is designed for firearm enthusiasts interested in learning to assemble the AR-15 platform. Participants will receive hands-on instruction, covering the assembly process and operational fundamentals of the AR-15.

Objectives:

Master the components and assembly techniques of the AR-15.

Build a functional and reliable firearm.

Develop safe handling practices and shooting skills.

Curriculum:

1. Introduction to the AR-15

Overview of the platform's history and variations.

Detailed explanation of components and their roles.

2. Assembly Techniques

Necessary tools and materials.

Step-by-step assembly of lower and upper receivers.

Tips for identifying and resolving common assembly challenges.

3. Safety and Handling

Essential firearm safety rules.

Best practices for maintenance and care.

4. Live Fire Experience

Conduct live fire exercises to apply learned skills.

Instruction on shooting stance, grip, and accuracy techniques.

Requirements:

*Participants must be 18 years or older and must pass the required background check before the classroom session begins, and be legally allowed to own/possess a firearm.*

  • It is highly recommended that participants enroll and come in to complete background check at least 5 days prior to ensure no delays in the participants class time.

  • Safety gear, including eye and ear protection, will be provided.

  • All necessary tooling will be provided for the classroom portion only.

  • All components for a complete rifle (excluding sights and optics) will be provided.

  • 60 Rounds of ammunition will be provided for live fire.

By the end of the class, participants will have a fully assembled AR-15 and the confidence to operate and maintain it safely. This course caters to both novices and experienced shooters looking to enhance their knowledge of the AR-15 platform.
